What Tyent alkaline water ionizers do is transform ordinary tap water into ionized alkaline water, raising its pH level to a reading of above seven on the pH scale. People have become more aware in recent years of the benefits of drinking water with a higher pH level (alkaline) rather than acidic, and are turning more and more to ionized alkaline water for better health. As we all know, any water with a pH of seven or above is alkaline. The process known as ionization is what creates ionized alkaline water. So how does this ionization process happen?

The process begins by introducing ordinary tap water into the unit. Once inside, the water passes through dual filters and the primary active carbon filter (ACF). The water is then passed over a series of Solid/Mesh Hybrid Medical grade, strengthened titanium plates that have been dipped multiple times in platinum. Through a process known as electrolysis, the water is zapped with a series of both positive and negative electrical charges. The result is the water transforms from acidic to alkaline. This ionized alkaline water is beneficial to your system for a number of reasons.

Why does it matter if it is acidic or alkaline…it is still water?

True. It is still water, but better water and better for you. To begin with, Tyent water ionizer’s dual filtration system removes 99% of all impurities while raising the pH level into the healthful, plus seven alkaline ranges. You can also adjust those pH levels from a value as low as 1.7 to as high as 12.0.

Alkaline water is rich with antioxidants that attack the free radicals or oxidizing molecules, which can wreak so much havoc on cell walls in the body. Additionally, through electrolysis, Tyent machines produce a negative ORP (oxygen-reduction potential) up to -1050, which is quite beneficial to the body. Another way to think of ORP is the potency of antioxidants to detoxify and cleanse the body. *Oxygen containing molecules do all the damage to the body’s cell walls by stealing electrons from nearby molecules causing damage to vital cell components and body tissue.
