Spring is in full swing, and that means that full-on summer is just around the next corner. Most people find that their beauty routine, however high or low maintenance it is, tends to change as the weather warms up.
How can your Tyent Ionizer help? Well apart from helping you get into shape and slowing down the aging process, your Tyent Ionizer can also give you an instant beauty boost!
- Fresh Faced
Whether you use cosmetics on your skin or not, this spritz is so refreshing on a warm day. If you do wear make up then spritz it on as soon as you’ve finished applying it, to help ‘set’ your make up and give a slightly dewy look, which is much more flattering in summer than a heavier, matte appearance.
Simply add these ingredients to a small spritz/fine spray bottle for a gorgeously fragrant skin treat. Keep it in the fridge for a really cooling sensation and simply shake before spraying!
1 tsp aloe vera (soothing if you’ve been in the sun for too long)
¼ cup rosewater
½ tsp lemon juice
¼ cup alkaline water
Few drops of jojoba oil
- Happy Hair!
Don’t go dropping any money on shop bought hair shiners to help keep your hair sleek in the sun. This version is natural, works brilliantly, and smells amazing!
You’ll need a spritzing bottle again, and while you can keep this in your handbag, you’ll need to give it a shake before applying.
½ cup alkaline water
½ tbsp. aloe vera
½ tbsp. liquid glycerin
Few drops of your favorite essential oil. Rosemary, lavender and chamomile are excellent for all hair types.
Simply boil the water in a small milk pan and add the essential oils before covering with a lid. Turn off the heat and leave to cool completely.
Once cooled, add the remaining ingredients and shake to disperse evenly before spritzing on dry or damp hair.
- Cooling Cologne
Have you ever tried to make your own scent? While it’s perfectly possible to spend decades learning how to blend and formulate fragrances, it’s equally possible to create a refreshing homemade perfume in minutes!
You will once again need a spritzing bottle with a fine mist setting, into which you should add ½ cup alkaline water. Then, using a dropper, add between 5 and 10 drops each of lavender, lemon, sweet orange and grapefruit essential oils. Stop occasionally, shake up the cologne and spritz to test, before adding more oil.
Remember it’s easy to add more, but impossible to take out what you’ve already put in, so go cautiously!
Once you’re happy with your blend, make a note of how many drops of each essential oil you added, so that you can create it again easily!
