100,000 Cancer Cases from Contaminants in Tap Water

A shocking new study from the Environmental Working Group (EWG) has revealed that exposure to the cocktail of lethal carcinogens in America’s tap water causes or contributes to over 100,000 cancer cases in the US over a lifetime.

The peer-reviewed study puts much of the toxic culpability on the presence of three main contaminants found in the water supply to millions of homes:

  • Arsenic
  • Disinfection by-products
  • Radioactive contaminants

Half of All Americans Have Radiation in Their Water

According to this report published in January by the Environmental Working Group (EWG), 173 million people – around half of all Americans – have been exposed to radiation in their drinking water.  That means an increase in the possibility of developing certain types of cancer and can also have a detrimental effect on fetal development.  

Radioactive elements enter our groundwater…and stay there.

Tyent Water Ionizers vs Reverse Osmosis Part 2 (Version 2)

Yesterday we looked at the way in which the process of Reverse Osmosis works to purify water.  In a nutshell, this is how RO works:  water is forced by pressure through a semi-permeable membrane that allows the water molecules to pass through but not larger molecules like iron, salts and minerals.

How does RO water compare to Tyent Water?

The final product is water that contains fewer impurities, but also has had all the important minerals and salts filtered out.  As mentioned yesterday, many industries rely on non-corrosive RO water for use in the manufacture of their products.

Moreover, drinking water purified by this process requires that those minerals be reintroduced into the water to make it healthier.

A reader wants to know, ” Is Alkaline Water from a Water Ionizer Really Better?” Now that is a great question!  Reaching deep into the Tyent Mail Bag, I plucked that little gem of a question out and am happy to answer it.  

Tyent Water isn’t only better, it’s the best.

Is water from a water ionizer really better?  Well, the answer would depend on what you were comparing it with.  Better than a new Porsche?  Maybe not.

Okay, obviously, I am playfully comparing apples and oranges here.

However, when you seriously compare water from a water ionizer with other water, ionized alkaline water is not only better…it is far superior.
