The State of Water in the World

     Clean water is headline news as of late.  When you look at the stories coming out of Ohio and their poisoned water supply, the West Virginia chemical spill, California drought and the banning of plastic water bottles in San Francisco, water is getting some big time press time.

Yet, what of the rest of the world?  What is the status of the water supply around the globe?  How are people affected by the lack of clean water or even the unavailability of water at all?
