First question up is one I haven’t heard yet.

Does Ionized Alkaline Water Cause Dehydration?

To begin with, the answer is an emphatic no, ionized alkaline water from a water ionizer does not cause dehydration; quite the opposite in fact.  Ionized alkaline water actually hydrates the body more effectively than any other water.

The stream of questions from people wanting to know about water from water ionizers appears to have no end and that is a good thing.  With all the dangerous chemicals lurking in tap water, the need for clean drinking water has never been higher or more necessary.

Is Alkaline Water Pure/Clean/Filtered?

Not necessarily.  Just because water is alkaline, doesn’t make it clean or “pure.”  Being alkaline merely means the water has a pH level above 7.0.  However, tap water requires some cleaning up to make it pure.

What Is Alkaline Water Anyway? (Revised)

If you’re wondering what alkaline water is, you’re not alone. Alkaline water is ordinary water that has been modified to raise the pH to a level that is above 7.0 on the pH scale.  Water that registers below 7.0 is acidic while water with a reading above 7.0 is alkaline.

It seems the more questions answered about ionized alkaline water, the more questions asked. To begin with, several people wanted to know about the cost of drinking alkaline water, and if it was really worth it.  The answer to the latter part of that question is yes, it is absolutely worth it. Not only is water from a water ionizer far superior to tap and bottled drinking water on every level (including price at about 6¢ a glass!), but because of the incredible amount of pollution and litter bottled water generates.

I am really enjoying these questions from good people everywhere wanting to learn more about alkaline water from Tyent water ionizers. It is with tongue-in-cheek that I refer to them as filling the Mail Bag. In actuality, they come in by email, telephone, and occasionally, some snail-mail from all over the world.  However, the questions are legitimate regardless of how they arrive.

A reader wants to know, ” Is Alkaline Water from a Water Ionizer Really Better?” Now that is a great question!  Reaching deep into the Tyent Mail Bag, I plucked that little gem of a question out and am happy to answer it.  

Tyent Water isn’t only better, it’s the best.

Is water from a water ionizer really better?  Well, the answer would depend on what you were comparing it with.  Better than a new Porsche?  Maybe not.

Okay, obviously, I am playfully comparing apples and oranges here.

However, when you seriously compare water from a water ionizer with other water, ionized alkaline water is not only better…it is far superior.
