Ways to make alkaline water at homeI know, right? A little unexpected? Well, it only seems fair that while we’re espousing the remarkable benefits of Tyent Water Ionizers; we redress the balance a little to let you guys know that you have options. Let’s take a look at them.

  1. Baking Soda
Because baking soda has a high alkaline content, mixing it with water at a ratio of around 600mg to an 8oz glass of water, increases the alkalinity of the water. It sure does.  Turkey Panini Image   Today’s recipe makes one of the most delicious sandwiches you will ever eat.  With Thanksgiving coming up you’ll need some new ways to use that left over turkey and this is a great one.  However, you don’t need to wait that long.

Panini – noun, (puh-nee-nee) a toasted sandwich usually made using Italian bread.

If you have a Panini machine great.  If you don’t, no worries, you can make these sandwiches like you would a grilled-cheese sandwich right in the skillet and they are every bit as good.

Chef-OkayWhile the temperature is still a little warm in some areas, in others, it is beginning to cool down a bit, especially in the evenings.

Originally from the mid-west, I grew up with warm Springs, hot Summers, beautiful Falls and bone chilling Winters.  Needless to say (but I will), I love the changing of the seasons.  Aside from the aesthetic beauty each season holds, with a change in the weather comes a change in the menu.

In fact, it is aptly named, Best Manicotti.

This recipe is pretty simple to make, great to eat, and guaranteed to give you that eye-closing m-mm response with the first bite.

I’ve also tossed in a deliciously simple recipe for some great tasting wedding cookies.
