With the holidays approaching quickly, consider the suitcases and duffel bags you’ll be packing for your trips to see friends, family, and the sights. Will you fill your suitcase with a few gadgets and accessories to make your travel healthy, or will your vacation be a gut-buster?
Start by following these tips for a healthy vacation, and then make sure you pick these items to pack in your suitcase.
Tennis shoes and workout clothes. Who knows? You might have time to squeeze in a workout or you might not, but without packing the requisite apparel, you’ll end up lounging around instead of getting active.
Portable water alkalizer. We all know that drinking strange water can make you sick. And you don’t want to be sick when you’re on that stellar vacation! Take along a portable water alkalizer to give your body alkaline hydration and safe drinking water wherever your journeys take you.
Pedometer. Many smartphones include GPS pedometers nowadays, but if you’re embarking on a walking-heavy trip (like a journey to Europe that includes walking tours, or a hiking trip), you might want to take along a pedometer to record your efforts.
Vitamins. Don’t forget to pack your vitamins. With all the diet splurging you’ll be doing on your travels, you’ll need them to boost your immune system to keep you in tip-top shape for excursions and sightseeing. Bonus tip: Pack fiber pills, too.
Sunscreen. Sunscreen myth: You don’t need sunscreen if the sun isn’t out or if your whole body isn’t exposed. Reality: You should always wear at least SPF 15 on your face, and if more of your body is exposed, increase the surface area. The sun’s UV rays can harm you even if it’s cloudy, so for a truly healthy vacation, pack the sunscreen!

Will remember this the next time I travel. Thanks.
